I finally declared chemical warfare on my allergies and got a cortisone shot today. I can breathe through my nose for the first time in a week. Fuck you, allergies!

As a chronic sufferer of allergies, I understand you.
It's not as bad as other stuff but it drives you crazy and degrades your quality of life. The rhinitis, the itching, the fucking mucus, the swelling, etc.
Even if everything is OK, the fucking allergies get you into a perma-pissed mood (at least for me).
Allergies SUCK!
I'm enjoying summer over here... the 3-4 months I don't have to worry that much about them :D

You suffered long enough. I have a friend who has to get cortisone shots too. On occasion, I'll get a drippy nose that just won't stop. Luckily, one Zyrtec takes care of that. Glad you're better.

Thanks. The antihistamines, decongestants and lack of sleep has caused a significant rise in my BP. And I'm already hypertensive as it is. I'm looking forward to a few good nights of sleep to help bring it back down.

Worse for me is how the antihistamines, decongestants and lack of good sleep affect my blood pressure. It's been really high this week, and I'm looking forward to a good night's sleep to help bring it back down.
